Labyrinth

Labyrinth: any confusingly intricate state of things or events; a bewildering complex. Not to mention a movie by Jim Henson and one of the strangest movies of the 80’s. Why am I bring this up? Well because tonight that’s what I spend 101 minutes doing was watching this classic on the big screen. This is one of the most unique movies one will ever watch they just don’t make them like they use to. If you ask me Jim Henson needs to rise from the dead and start making movies again. Teach the computer age that sometimes it’s just better to do it the old fashion way.

In more serious news, I once again had an interesting conversation on the bus ride home. A man accidentally touched me with his shoe then apologized profusely. I simply said it was ok and turned around to continue staring out the window. He then tapped me on the shoulder and then said “do you believe in Jesus?” I was very taken aback by this and to be honest I didn’t want to answer right away. But I just smiled and said yes. Then he asked me to pray for him and his 2 daughters as he is going though a divorce, money is tight and he only gets to see his kids once a week. I found this very humbling that a man I just meet a mere 30 seconds earlier was asking ME to pray for him. He was a bit more charismatic about religion than I am but that doesn’t matter. So if you would like to join me in praying for this gentleman his name is Al. That’s pretty much all I know about him.
