Your talk about about expressing love made me smile. In Leah and my relationship, we have butted heads repeatedly about expressing love. For me, words are important, but actions more so. Gifts do not show love, in my heart. Leah is the exact opposite. Gifts are the highest form of love expression to her. Thus, any apology must be accompanied by a gift to assure her that I still love her.

Your closing point about showing anyone and everyone love everyday is a great one. That is the attitude that I hope more and more people adopt. Let us all love each other by default. Fill the world with love until it is overflowing in it. Let no person go unloved, and remember to express is in kind acts, kind words, and occasionally by giving something meaningful.

Great post, Brooke

"What is love?"
Answer: Baby don't hurt me, don't hurt me, no more!

And to answer your real question, no, I havent really shown my love lately, I'm not very good with that sort of stuff and I'm not seeing anyone right now anyway. But we should celebrate love everyday, not only on one hallmark holiday.
